How do I clean my hat?
The only safe way for you to clean your hat is with a hat brush or hat sponge. If it has sweat
stains or other spots, it will need to be sent in for a professional cleaning.

To start the renovation process each hat is stripped of the old leather, lining and band. Hat is inspected for cuts, breaks, and holes in crown and brim. Surface dirt is removed and hat is chemically treated for different types of stain.
Once the hat is dry, it is inspected to be sure it is as clean as possible and then stiffened. Our process and is then followed up with Steam blocking to establish the correct head size and crown height. Renovation completions are estimated on a hat by hat basis as no two hats are in the exact same condition. Our goal is to bring new life to each project and restore as close as possible to the original condition.
What if it’s raining & my hat gets wet?
When you get home, just set the hat upside down and let it dry naturally.

The conformateur was created in the late 1800’s and is a tried and true tool used to take a template of our customers head shape to ensure the perfect fit.

What do the X’s mean?
The X’s represent the quality of fur used when making the hat. The higher the X’s, the better
the fur is. Higher X hats last longer.
